Glaucoma Updates - This course is designed to provide a comprehensive update on the latest advancements in glaucoma diagnosis, monitoring, and management. Topics will include emerging imaging techniques, updates in pharmacologic and laser treatments, and an overview of sustained-release drug delivery platforms. This course emphasizes practical insights and evidence-based strategies to enhance patient care through early detection and disease monitoring. (Jordan; AOA902-GL, 1 hour)

Key Considerations for Cataract Surgery Co-Management - Co-management of patients undergoing certain ophthalmic surgical procedures has become an integral part of Optometry’s evolution toward a more medical model of eye care. It has also contributed to better access to surgical services in areas underserved by tertiary eye care practitioners. This course provides an understanding of the medical and practice considerations essential for rendering successful optometric surgical co-management. (Baicht, AOA903-PO, 1 hour)

Adminstrator's Note: At its December 18, 2025 meeting, the NHOA Board of Directors voted to pilot the offering of AOA CE credit as a member benefit in connection with the Winter Schminter 2-hour CE program. AOA CE Hours satisfy the continuing education requirements of most state licensing boards and are widely recognized within the optometric profession. Nevertheless, participants are advised to confirm with their respective state board(s) that AOA CE Hours are accepted as an approved form of continuing education credit.
